Stability, strength, homogeneity and beauty make laminated wood the most suitable material for the realization of windows and doors. The choice of the best wood excluding areas at risk, the perfect drying and its composition obtained by overlapping several lamellas of fiber opposing to increase its stability, make the laminated laminate a unique product, highly technological and unalterable over time.
With laminated wood it is possible to scientifically calculate the behaviour of the frame profile to bending and shear forces. The elimination of defects and discontinuities increases and homogenizes the mechanical strength values. Overlapping staggered tablets eliminates the characteristic anisotropy of wood. If it is used the laminated wood, the calculation of the bending force of the window pillars, exposed to wind pressure, can be made at table: this bending force must remain within the limits provided for by ISO 6612.
For the most complete guarantee for customers, the production of the XILL3 laminated is subject to continuous internal and external checks. 100% control of the humidity of each table flowing in the plant; automatic elimination and forwarding to the reconditioning of each table that leaves the required moisture limits; D4 level bonding according to Uni En 204; control of the gluing; pressing conditions; product verification.
The faces in view of the laminated wood are selected to ensure a perfect homogeneity of the fibrature and a better regularity in the grain pattern. The aesthetic appearance is better, more regular, especially appreciated in the very high pieces of French windows and curtain walls. The elimination of "dead" knots and discontinuities abolishes the vibration of the planer, the transverse highlights and the tearing of the fibers. Stains due to the uneven absorption of the impregnating liquid are also greatly reduced.
The meticulous studies carried out in Germany and the experiments carried out by the Centre Technique du Bois et de l'Ameublement in Paris have shown that many of the paint defects in the windows are mainly attributable to the use of wood which is not well dried. The use of the laminated ensures that the processing of the window is always carried out with perfectly and evenly dried wood at the optimal level of use. The impregnating agents penetrate perfectly and homogeneously into the wood and the surface water-repellent layer remains well adherent to the surface, because there is no excess moisture that evaporating raises the finish.
